ATLANTA RESULTS

Wow! Everyone did great this week! Results:

Chip -- 7.4
Erik -- 8
JC -- 9.8
Ali -- 14.6
Melody -- 15.2
John -- 16

Congrats to Ali! We have an off-week next week, during which I will post running results for the season so far. To hold you over until then -- thoughts on Atlanta:

1) Is there an emoticon for a yawn? ;-O ?
2) When will people learn to stop picking Mark Martin? He's like the Kasey Kahne of 2009.
3) Tony keeps finishing 8th! He has finished 8th in all races this year except Vegas. Weird.
4) Driver Crush of the Week -- Nobody floated my boat this week, so instead, I'm going to list people who will never qualify for the DCOTW. Apologies to Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, David Reutimann, Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Clint Bowyer and Jeff Gordon.
5) What is up with Mark Martin's face? Seriously! He is only 49 years old?! He has some kind of Benjamin Button disease going on or something because the dude could easily pass for 72.

  1. That's 3 out of 4 races thus far I've lost by less than 1 position. Ughhh...

I actually thought this race was better than Fontana. Fast speeds, but Kurt just was en fuego. That many lapped cars isn't very interesting.

Mark's had some bad luck. He's consistently good.. so it's this season that's just been kinda strange thus far. I think it's the 5 car personally.

Driver Crush.. geez. LOL actually I can agree with all of those.. cept Bowyer isn't in the league as those guys.. imo.

LOL his face is weathered.. but it's not quite as bad as some. He needs a little sun is all. I think he's 51 isn't he?

  2. I'm just trying to figure out why Jennifer congratulated Ali when I'm the one who won it this week... :(

I like Mark's looks... he's got that "Clint-Eastwood-Meets-Jack-LaLane"-ish thing going on.

  4. She was only predicting the future and who she thinks really should win it.
